Since a Child I have always loved playing and working with fabrics.
With a background in Interior Design and a BA in Contemporary Textiles & Surface Pattern.
A few years experience in the production of soft furnishings for interiors, using recycled & vintage Welsh Wool blankets & fabrics, I guess it was inevitable I would continue to work within this field, doing what I love.

Within my work I use natural and where possible recycled fabrics.
The techniques can vary from free motion machine stitch to hand embroidery, building layers of colour and texture to produce unique textile art work.
I can regularly be found stirring a caldron of fruit , vegetables or flowers, and dyeing the fabrics before I start. Occas

My inspiration definitely comes from my surroundings... living in the Welsh Countryside, I am never short of new ideas.
I am within walking distance of all the flora & fauna I could possibly want, and only a ten minute drive to the coast....
